Stefon Diggs is at it again

As if the NFL wasn’t aware, Stefon Diggs is good and he made sure the league knew it on primetime football… again. The Bills offense, completely dropping the ball in the first half, was going nowhere.

Buffalo only had 76 passing yards in the opening half and quarterback Josh Allen was completing less than half of his passes in the time span (10-for-23). In turning things around, the Bills went to their thoroughbred in Diggs.

After only three catches for 38 yards to start the game in the first half, Diggs completely took over the game and Steelers defense in the second half. The highlight moment was his 19-yard touchdown pass on the Bills’ opening drive of the third quarter. But even then, the Steelers must have been just trying to call Buffalo’s bluff by thinking Allen wouldn’t keep going to him… and they did. Diggs finished the game with 10 catches for 130 yards and a score.

Several of Diggs’ grabs were of the short variety and he had plenty of yards after the catch in this one, just like his touchdown. But again, Diggs made grabbing the ball along the sideline look easy, even with Cam Sutton in coverage. Sutton entered the game as Pro Football Focus’ 12th best cornerback in the NFL. He’s no slouch, but Diggs made things look pretty easy.
