Five takeaways from the Buffalo Bills’ Week 17 loss to the New York Jets.

With 7:03 left in the first quarter, the Bills took an interesting timeout. It turned out to be a great gesture. Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott used that moment to give a tip of the cap to Alexnader. He subbed the linebacker out of the game so fans and teammates could show their appreciation for him.

Alexander previously said this year would be his last and he’d head into retirement.

More recently Alexander declined to comment if he’s still going to retire after this season, but seeing what the Bills did for him makes one believe that he probably still is going to. A nice move by the team in what will be his last game at New Era Field if he hang em’ up. Buffalo will play on the road in the playoffs.
