5 realistic Ben Simmons trade ideas the 76ers should really think hard about

Here are some moves the 76ers should really consider

The Ben Simmons situation in Philadelphia is coming to a head. Something needs to happen and it needs to happen fast.

It’s as clear as day Simmons wants out. He reportedly is planning on skipping training camp and doesn’t want to play a game for the team ever again. Plain and simple: He’s done.

But if you ask anyone close to the team, they want Simmons back. And they love him. Doc Rivers just said it yesterday. Joel Embiid said it earlier this month.

But really, that’s because they haven’t found the exact trade they wanted on the market just yet. And instead of trading him for pennies on the dollar, they’d rather keep him in hand until his value rises.

And while that’s a sound strategy in theory, it could make for a pretty chaotic locker room and an even worse product on the court without a starting-caliber point guard.

No, the deals out there aren’t perfect. But there are some available that the 76ers should absolutely strongly consider.

We’ve got a few right here for you thanks to ESPN’s trade machine.
