2. QB Justin Fields – Ohio State
When talking about quarterbacks who are in the Heisman discussion, one that doesn’t get much attention compared to the others is Ohio State’s quarterback Justin Fields. It could be due to the fact that Fields doesn’t play much in the fourth quarter, so it’s rare to see him play for 60 minutes and his stats take a hit from it compared to others.
Fields is having a phenomenal season, throwing for 2,352 yards for 33 touchdowns, and just one interception, along with a 69 percent completion percentage. His legs are dangerous too, as he has 105 carries for 445 yards and 10 touchdowns. Fields is the most complete quarterback Ohio State has had since Troy Smith.
