2. WR Jerry Jeudy – Alabama
When talking about wide receivers in the 2020 NFL draft class, the number one option has to be Alabama’s stud wide receiver Jerry Jeudy if he decides to declare. The scary part about Alabama’s offense and receivers is Jeudy doesn’t even lead the team in yards, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t the best option to throw too.
Jeudy has 71 catches for 959 yards with nine touchdowns this season. Michigan’s secondary will be tested heavily and with Alabama having three wide receivers that can deal damage, Michigan won’t be able to double-team all of them. The biggest challenge for Michigan’s defense will be learning how to limit the Alabama wide receivers and it starts with containing Jeudy.
It doesn’t matter which Michigan defensive back is covering Jeudy, they will have their hands full. Michigan does have their offensive coordinator Josh Gattis, who used to be the wide receivers coach at Alabama last season, will know Jeudy’s weakness and help the defense learn what to do against him and the others on offense.
