5 players for Raiders fans to watch at the 2020 Senior Bowl

Raiders wire looks at 5 players that Raiders fans should pay attention to as Senior Bowl week is under way.

Anthony Gordon, QB Washington State

The quarterback position will be talked about at nauseating proportions for the months to come as Carr didn’t have the season that solidified his starting quarterback for the Raiders in 2020.

The questions and rumors will persist, and the Raiders scouts will be out evaluating every position at the Senior Bowl. While Jordan Love and Justin Herbert will get the headlines Anthony Gordon from Washington State has a chance to steal the show.

Gordon is a one-year starter for Washington State that regressed in the win column during Mike Leach’s final season as the head coach. The senior quarterback still put up great numbers throwing over 5500 yards, 48 touchdowns and executed the offense at a high level.

But what’s unique about Gordon is his upside. He has the size, mobility, and arm strength that Gruden covets in an NFL QB and also flashes the ability to make plays on the fly. He can throw from different platforms with a large zip on the football with a good feel in the pocket.

Usually, one QB rises at the senior bowl displaying they can throw the football through the robust Alabama winds. Gordon looks to be that guy in 2020.
