The Jets won their second consecutive game of the season, beating the Redskins 34-17 in a rather convincing fashion.

Jamal Adams became just the second defensive back in the last 10 seasons with three sacks in a single game. The other was Pittsburgh Steelers DB Mike Hilton in 2017, according to ESPN Stats & Info.

Since sacks were first tracked in 1982, Adams is just the third DB to post two sacks in back-to-back games. It hasn’t been done since Aaron Beasley did it for Jacksonville in 2000.

Adams has now recorded five sacks in his past two contests and leads the Jets with six this season.
