5 Bills takeaways from Day 2 of 2020 NFL Draft

Takeaways from the second and third rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft and the Buffalo Bills.

What else could be in-play tomorrow?

Well the Bills have another bigger slew of selections on Saturday. Buffalo will have five picks, in total, pending trade decisions. Their others will start with a fourth rounder, starting at No. 128, followed one in the fifth round, two in the sixth round and one more in the seventh and final round.

So, what positions could Buffalo now target?

The Bills have hit on some of these picks in the past, such as 2017 fifth-round pick Matt Milano. Then again, Nathan Peterman was a fifth rounder that same year, so don’t get too excited.

As mentioned, wide receiver could be up there for the Bills and at some point, likely will be one of Buffalo’s picks from the sounds of it. Aside from that, there are not many glaring holes elsewhere. A future prospect at cornerback is possible, as is just a plain-old versatile defender. Someone that could help replace Lorenzo Alexander’s unique skill set.

Lower on the scale could be tight end, offensive line and backup quarterback competition.
