5 best picks of the 2020 NFL Draft

5. WR Tyler Johnson, Buccaneers

Tyler Johnson’s fall in the 2020 NFL Draft was a curious one. He was loved by both film watchers and analytic scouts as he was highly productive at Minnesota. But he fell to Day 3 in the draft and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers scooped him up.

Johnson is a perfect fit in the Buccaneers’ offense as he can work from the slot using his size and catch radius. He’s not the fastest receiver, but he knows how to get open and make tough catches across the middle of the field.

Don’t be surprised if the Day 3 pick works his way into the starting lineup as a rookie and becomes a favorite of Tom Brady.  Johnson couldn’t have asked for a better landing spot as Mike Evans and Chris Godwin should draw enough attention on the outside to allow life to be easy in the slot.
