Four-star safety Rashad Johnson is a Georgia Bulldogs football recruiting target. He plans to announce his commitment soon.

Four-star safety recruit Rashad Johnson has pushed back his commitment date from July 1 to July 14. Johnson plays high school football for South Sumter High School in Bushnell, Florida.

Johnson, who is a member of the 2025 recruiting cycle, is a key recruiting target for the Georgia Bulldogs. Georgia does not have any commitments from defensive backs right now in the class of 2025.

Rashad Johnson is ranked as the No. 360 recruit in the country, per On3. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound defender is ranked as the No. 49 prospect in Florida and the No. 33 safety in the nation.

The four-star’s top four schools are Georgia, Penn State, Louisville and Texas A&M. On3 considers Johnson to be a Georgia lean.

The South Sumter defensive back announced his plans to announce his commitment via social media.

Georgia football currently has the third-ranked recruiting class in the nation behind Alabama and Ohio State. The Bulldogs have 17 commitments in the class of 2025.
