Since coming to Eugene, Oregon Ducks running back coach Carlos Locklyn has done a great job of bringing in highly talented ball carriers. With the commitment of Jordan James in 2022, plus the additions of both Dante Dowdell and Jayden Limar in 2023, Oregon’s RB recruiting has been stellar. When you also add in transfers from Bucky Irving and Noah Whittington, it’s hard to argue against anything Locklyn has been doing.
It appears that the Ducks are in the mix to add another elite RB as well. On Thursday afternoon, 4-star RB Jason Brown announced his top schools, including the Ducks alongside both the Washington Huskies and Michigan State Spartans.

Brown is rated as the No. 113 overall player in the 2024 class and the No. 6 RB. On top of that, he is rated as the No. 2 overall player in the state of Washington.
Brown has taken several visits to Oregon over the last year, and he is arguably among the top recruits left on the board for the Ducks.
Oregon doesn’t yet have an RB committed to the 2024 class, so the potential addition of Brown would be notable.
