The commitment process giveth and the commitment process taketh away, and it looks like Michigan State might be in line for some of the ‘giveth’ part of that equation.
On Tuesday, one of Michigan State’s top recruiting targets for 2021 de-committed from Kansas, which immediately set off alarm bells for MSU fans who wanted to see him come to East Lansing.
Coleman is a two-sport athlete, and looks poised to try and play both sports in college, but football is definitely his strong-suit where he is a 4-star wide receiver. However, he definitely is no slouch on the hardwood, where he averaged 26 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, and 4 steals per game for Opelousas Catholic School in Louisiana.

The Spartans recruited Coleman harder than most in the 2021 class, evidenced by all the recruiting graphics they sent him which you can see here. It would stand to reason that they have at least an outside shot to land Coleman considering that they made his top-6 earlier in the process.
