One of the members of the Oregon Ducks’ 2025 recruiting class flipped his commitment on Thursday evening.
Four-star defensive lineman Josiah Sharma announced he would commit to the Texas Longhorns, flipping his commitment from the Ducks. Sharma committed to the Ducks on June 28.
Sharma was No. 245 overall in the 2025 class and No. 30 among defensive linemen nationally on the 247Sports composite. He was one of the lower-rated players in Oregon’s fifth-ranked 2025 class.
Though he wasn’t one of the premiere members of the class, Sharma was one of two defensive lineman in the Ducks’ 2025 haul. The remaining defensive lineman is edge Matthew Johnson.
