4-star defensive lineman locks in official visit to Florida

Four-star defensive lineman Keldric Faulk set an official visit to Florida for the middle of June.

Four-star defensive lineman [autotag]Keldric Faulk[/autotag] locked in an official visit to Florida on Tuesday, according to Swamp247. He plans to take one from June 17 to the 19. He’ll also use one to visit Clemson during the first weekend of June.

The 247Sports composite rankings have the Highland Home, Alabama, native as the 112th overall player and as the 14th best at his position.

This will be Faulk’s second visit to the Swamp under the new coaching staff. He last visited during the month of March.

So far head coach [autotag]Billy Napier[/autotag], co-defensive coordinator and defensive line coach [autotag]Sean Spencer[/autotag] and co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach [autotag]Patrick Toney[/autotag] have led the way for the Gators in Faulk’s recruitment. He said he has built strong relationships with all three coaches.

Faulk has played mainly a five-technique defensive end for his high school, but the Gators are recruiting him to play the JACK linebacker position in their defense. That position will allow him to play standing up and put his hand in the dirt.

He added that Florida, Florida State, Clemson, Oklahoma and Auburn are doing the best job recruiting him currently. Faulk wants to make his decision near the end of the summer.
