4-Star defensive lineman Isaiah Campbell decommits from Clemson

Clemson loses a big commitment in their 2025 recruiting class.

Dabo Swinney and the Clemson football program are coming off an awesome rivalry win over NC State, but with the good win came so bad news following the game.

Four-Durham (N.C.) Southern four-star defensive lineman Isaiah Campbell announced his decommitment from Clemson on X on Saturday, after committing early in the year on January 29th. A shock for fans, Campbell said this on social media:

After much prayer and counsel, I am announcing my decommitment from Clemson University. At this time, I am continuing to build relationships with schools that share my values and goals. I know this may come as a shock, but please respect me, my family, and my coaches as we navigate this transition. Thank you for your support and understanding!

On3 has the four-star standout ranked as the No. 31 overall player in the country and the No. 3 defensive lineman. For On3’s industry ranking, Campbell landed at No. 43 overall and No. 4 among defensive linemen.

A huge loss for the Tigers in their 2025 recruiting class.
