49ers injury report: Dre Greenlaw misses practice

Dre Greenlaw was out of Thursday’s practice for the San Francisco 49ers. George Kittle is still limited.

The 49ers on Thursday only had one change to their practice participation report, but it was a fairly significant move.

Second-year linebacker Dre Greenlaw did not practice while dealing with a quad contusion he sustained in the 49ers’ Week 2 win vs. the Jets. He was limited in Wednesday’s session and downgraded to a non-participant Thursday.

The good news for San Francisco is tight end George Kittle was still active, although on a limited basis. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is still out, adding additional evidence that Nick Mullens will be the team’s starting quarterback Sunday.
