The San Francisco 49ers are extremely banged up going into their Week 13 showdown with the Buffalo Bills.
However, they will at least have starting quarterback Brock Purdy this week after he missed Week 12 with a shoulder injury. He was limited for Wednesday and Thursday’s practices before getting a full participation in Friday.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan indicated Friday he expected Purdy to play, and ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Saturday that Purdy made it through Saturday without any setbacks and would suit up against the Bills.
The 49ers made that official Sunday afternoon when Purdy was not among their list of inactive players.
Here’s who won’t suit up for San Francisco:
QB Brandon Allen (Emergency QB)
DE Nick Bosa (hip, oblique)
OT Trent Williams (ankle)
CB Deommodore Lenoir (knee)
LG Aaron Banks (concussion)
DT Jordan Elliott (concussion)
LB Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles (knee)
Interestingly, Josh Dobbs is the backup signal caller for the first time with Purdy starting this season. That may be an indicator of some news things the 49ers can do with their run game if they elect to roll a more mobile QB on the field.
Cornerback Renardo Green (neck), defensive tackle Kevin Givens (groin) and wide receiver Chris Conley (knee) are all active after being listed as questionable.
