The 49ers on Sunday announced their list of inactive players for their matchup with the Seattle Seahawks. News from the announcement was good and bad for San Francisco. Running back Elijah Mitchell was officially ruled out. Tight end George Kittle will play.
Here’s the list of inactives for Sunday:
RB Elijah Mitchell (shoulder)
CB K’Waun Williams (calf)
CB Josh Norman (chest)
OL Aaron Banks
DL Zach Kerr
Mitchell and Kittle were both listed as ‘questionable’ on the Friday injury report. Mitchell is dealing with a shoulder injury he suffered in Week 2 that kept him out of last week’s game against Green Bay as well. Kittle has a calf issue that kept him to only a limited practice Friday.
Defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw was also questionable with a knee injury and he will play against the Seahawks.
Cornerbacks Dre Kirkpatrick and Buster Skrine are both active as well, along with rookie CB Ambry Thomas who was a healthy scratch the last two weeks.
