After a 105-yard, two-touchdown performance in Week 13 by Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner in the team’s 24-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, one would think he would be in the running for conference player of the week honors.
The NFL announced the conference players of the week for Week 13.
Conner did not get NFC Offensive Player of the Week. Those honors went to San Francisco 49ers receiver Deebo Samuel. Samuel had 138 total yards from scrimmages and scored three times in a 42-19 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
