Jason Verrett was taken up the tunnel on a cart. He was absolutely distraught as he required help to get into the #49ers locker room. GM John Lynch was with him.

Midway through the fourth quarter, 49ers quarterback Jason Verrett went down with a non-contact injury and immediately reached for his right knee.
He walked off the field under his own power after trainers attended to him. Eventually Verrett went to the bench and then walked toward the locker room in tears. He stopped multiple times and needed assistance walking off.
That’s a potentially brutal injury for Verrett and the 49ers. Dontae Johnson was the first corner off the bench.
