The length of the contract

Green is entering the twilight of his career. Nevertheless, he has been extremely productive when he has been on the field. He will be 32 years old when this upcoming season kicks off.

This may be the final big contract that Green signs in his career. He may be looking for more guaranteed money and a longer term based at this stage of his career, which makes sense.

He could look for a three-year contract, which would conflict with some of the major signings that the Bills would need to make in subsequent seasons. A major Green signing could create some challenges in signing all of the essential components of the Buffalo roster in the coming years, including Josh Allen, Tremaine Edmunds, Matt Milano, Dion Dawkins, and Tre’Davious White. That apparent cap space will get eaten up quickly, even if the Bills do have the fourth-most cap space in the NFL heading into this offseason ($73 million).
