4 edge-rushers Jaguars should consider signing

The Jaguars need to find an edge-rusher to compliment Josh Allen. Here are four they should consider signing.

The Jacksonville Jaguars finished near the bottom of the NFL in sacks last season, according to StatMuse. They only generated 32 sacks, which is only three more than the second-worst team, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Defensive end and outside linebacker Josh Allen led the team with 7.5 sacks while defensive lineman Dawuane Smoot followed with six. Defensive linemen Adam Gotsis, Roy Robertson-Harris and linebacker Damien Wilson finished tied for third with three sacks.

With free agency opening on Monday, general manager Trent Baalke and head coach Doug Pederson need to take advantage of the period to add another pass rusher to compliment Allen.

Some of the top edge-rushers in this year’s pool include notable talents like Von Miller, Chandler Jones, Jadeveon Clowney, Randy Gregory and Emmanuel Ogbah. The NFL has placed a premium on players at this position recently, and it’s important the Jaguars snag the best pass rushers they can during this period.

Here are four edge-rushers Jacksonville should consider signing during 2022 NFL free agency.
