4 Chiefs snubbed from NFL’s 2010s All-Decade team

Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes and other Kansas City Chiefs deserved a spot on the 2010s All-Decades team.

The NFL and Pro Football Hall of Fame have named players and coaches to the 2010s All-Decade team. The Kansas City Chiefs had six members of the franchise selected, but there were several other members noticeably absent. Here’s a look at four of the most deserving members of the Chiefs franchise that were snubbed from the team:

HC Andy Reid

Is there anyone more obviously absent from this team than Reid? From 2010-2019, with the Eagles and the Chiefs, Reid has a 99-61 regular-season record with a 5-6 postseason record. He finally got a Super Bowl victory this season with Kansas City. His leadership changed the fortune of the Chiefs franchise for the 2010s decade and it has set them up to be successful for the next decade too. Perhaps, if Reid coaches for another 10 seasons, he’ll do enough to make the list in 2030.
