4 bold predictions for Tennessee Titans 2020 training camp

Here are four bold predictions for the Titans’ 2020 training camp.

Titans add veteran to kicker competition

Much like the backup quarterback competition, the Titans will see two inexperienced players battling it out for the starting kicker job in Greg Joseph and UDFA out of Missouri, Tucker McCann.

McCann’s lack of experience is obvious, being that he’s a rookie, but Joseph isn’t exactly a seasoned veteran, either. The 25-year-old attempted just one field goal with the Titans in 2019 and has just 21 attempts in total during his career (including playoffs).

Whether it’s a high-end option like Stephen Gostkowski or a familiar face in Ryan Succop, the Titans are going to add a veteran to this competition in training camp in order to make sure they have the best man for the job one season after having the worst field goal unit in the NFL.
