3. Eddie Jackson gets first INT of season, a pick-six
It’s been 11 games and All-Pro safety Eddie Jackson still doesn’t have an interception this season. Meanwhile, his counterpart Ha Ha Clinton-Dix has two.
The Bears will either face Jeff Driskel for a second time or third-string quarterback David Blough. Driskel is coming off a three-interception performance against the Washington Redskins, and he threw an interception in the Bears’ last meeting with the Lions.
Last Thanksgiving, Jackson had a game-changing interception of Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford, which effectively sealed the game for the Bears. Hopefully Thursday’s game won’t have to come down to the wire, but there’s no better way for Jackson to get his first pick of the year than on a familiar national stage.
