The Oklahoma City Thunder signed guard Justin Robinson to a 10-day contract on Monday and threw him into action immediately. The 6-foot-1 guard played 24 minutes against the Detroit Pistons and scored nine points.
That is already a career-high. After playing for Virginia Tech for four years, he was not drafted to the NBA but later signed a contract with the Washington Wizards. He has spent the majority of the last two seasons in the G League.
In Oklahoma City, Robinson will work to prove he deserves a spot in the league.
Here are some pieces of background about the new Thunder guard.
