2. Who needs an offensive coordinator
Like a big pot of Gumbo Pederson will be able to utilize Mornhinweg’s wealth of experience and offensive knowledge that he’s accrued over the years.
Mornhinweg spent two years as head coach of the Detroit Lions and, most recently, he spent three seasons stint as the Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator (2016-18).
“He gets what we’re doing. He gets my vision. He understands my philosophy,” Pederson said in a statement on Thursday. “He understands what my goal is and what my vision is for this offense.”
Pederson is the play-caller and it’ll be on Mornhinweg and Press Taylor to dial up some innovation.
