Gabe Davis impressions continue

Bills rookie wide receiver Gabriel Davis has made it hard to not include him in our three takeaways from every practice. But we’ve decide to push him in there again after Monday’s practice for pretty much the same reason we did so earlier in training camp.

Multiple reports say Davis once again beat the Bills’ No. 1 cornerback Tre’Davious White in practice. Everyone knows how good White is, so for a rookie to best him on occasions bodes very well for the first-year guy. On this route in particular, WKBW reported that the catch was made due to Davis (impressively) using his body size and strength to box out White and to keep away the defender’s attempts at forcing a fumble.

But that’s just one catch, of course. Really the biggest takeaway came via ESPN’s Marcel Louis-Jacques. On paper we know that it’s Stefon Diggs and John Brown at Buffalo’s 1-2 punch outside.
