No stone unturned
Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott will often make a mention of not overlooking things. That ol’ idea of “leaving no stone unturned.” Well, in an effort to do so on Monday, McDermott had some guys do the jobs of other guys just to get used to that football feeling, especially without preseason games to lean on.
Specifically the Bills’ offensive linemen were taking part in some tackling drills, according to ESPN. Of course, these guys don’t do this much… if at all, during a normal season. But hey, a lot of things are weird this offseason already, so why not?
For what it’s worth, McDermott considered the first day of practice a “thud up” practice and not exactly one that’s fully live.
Something you don't see every practice — the Bills offensive linemen participating in tackling drill during the team's first padded practice.
