On an otherwise positive day in Tuscaloosa, the Crimson Tide did have a few injury scares in the matchup with New Mexico State.

JoJo Earle and Roydell Williams both went down with what appear to be serious lower leg injuries. DeMarcco Hellams left the game with a thigh bruise but his injury doesn’t look to be as significant as Earle’s and Williams’.

The injury to Williams could prove to be pivotal as Alabama is already thin at the running back position with the injury to Jase McClellan earlier in the season.
