3 Seahawks who could be 1st time Pro Bowlers in 2020

The Seattle Seahawks have a lot of players who are familiar with the Pro Bowl. Here are three who could make it for the first time in 2020.

Running Back Chris Carson

Chris Carson rushed for over 1,100 yards in each of the past two seasons, topping out at 1,230 in 2019 across 15 games. He tacked on 37 receptions for 266 yards and a pair of touchdowns, giving him nine scores on the campaign.

Carson’s 1,496 yards from scrimmage was 10th in the NFL last year, and there’s little doubt if he stays healthy for an entire season he will be on the cusp of making a Pro Bowl.

The health is of course the big challenge. Even after playing 14 games in 2018 and 15 last year, Carson is still a risk heading into 2020 thanks to season-ending hip surgery that could linger into training camp.

All signs indicate he will be good to go by 2020, however, a fact that cannot be stated for Seattle’s No. 2 running back, Rashaad Penny.

If Carson is healthy and Penny is still banged up when Week 1 rolls around, that could clear a path for Carson to put up even bigger numbers in the first part of the season, which could be enough for him to make the Pro Bowl for the first time in 2020.
