3 offensive keys that could lead to an Oklahoma victory over Texas Tech

3 Offensive keys to an Oklahoma Sooners win vs. the Texas Tech Red Raiders in week 9.

Let the depth chart loose

With the possibility of Mario Williams and Michael Woods sitting out one more time, this is another week where guys who haven’t seen many targets should really get some serious looks in the passing game.

Eric Gray is RB2 now with Brooks pulling away during the Texas game. However, Gray is a solid pass catcher and should get some looks in the slot and out of the backfield.

Trevon West and Jalil Farooq are receiver names that have to step up in the absence of Williams, Woods and Cody Jackson.

Marvin Mims and Jadon Haselwood will be the primary targets out wide but Farooq and West made plays in the win against Kansas.

Last but certainly not least, it’s time to let Austin Stogner loose. Stogner, is the team’s most gifted tight end and with the Sooners looking to take a leap as a team heading into November, this is the spot to get Stogner more involved.

The Sooners are one game away from a much needed bye week that could really recharge this team for the stretch run. First, they must take care of business against a stumbling Texas Tech team trying to regroup after the loss of their head coach midseason.
