3 observations: Sixers use hot shooting to knock off Raptors at home

The Philadelphia 76ers were able to ride a hot shooting night on their way to a preseason win over the Toronto Raptors.

The Philadelphia 76ers returned home on Thursday to take on the Toronto Raptors in a preseason rematch after the two teams met in Canada on Monday. This time, the result was much different in favor of the Sixers as they welcomed Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris back to the lineup.

The Sixers knocked down 12 triples in the first half and they used that hot shooting to come away with a 125-113 win. Seth Curry shot 4-for-8 from deep and he had 15 points on the night and Danny Green shot 3-for-6 from deep on his way to 11 points and five rebounds as he played only in the first half.

Harris had 14 points, four rebounds, and four assists in 24 minutes of play and Embiid had 10 points and six rebounds as Philadelphia did not want to push either guy in this one. Georges Niang had 16 points, Andre Drummond had 10 and seven rebounds, Tyrese Maxey had 14 points and five assists, and Isaiah Joe added 15 off the bench.
