The Philadelphia 76ers began a 4-game West Coast road trip against a Sacramento Kings team that is no longer a pushover in the Western Conference. The Kings gave the Sixers all they could handle, but Philadelphia rode a big defensive effort in the fourth to win it 119-111.
Joel Embiid led Philadelphia with 25 points, 17 rebounds, and a season-high six assists, Seth Curry added 22 points, Tobias Harris was big in the fourth quarter and added 22 points and 10 rebounds, and Ben Simmons had 14 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds. Furkan Korkmaz had 13 off the bench and Shake Milton added 11 points.
