Nathan Knight, William & Mary
The Sixers are a team built on defense. Knight brings exactly that as he was an elite rim protector during his time at William & Mary averaging 1.8 blocks during his four seasons there and he averaged 2.5 blocks in his junior season. Philadelphia will need a big man they can turn to off the bench and that’s what Knight offers along with a solid offensive game. His 3-point shot has continued to develop and it can become a lethal weapon over time.
Kalbrosky added on Knight, who is ranked 43rd on the big board:
Nathan Knight, who won the Colonial Athletic Association’s Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year awards, averaged more than 20 points per game for the second year in a row in 2019-20. His scoring on pick-and-pop opportunities ranked second-best among all Division I players. He also averaged 10.5 rebounds per game, and his defensive rebound percentage (29.4%) ranked fifth-best among all seniors.
