The Indianapolis Colts will be entering the offseason with a solid amount of salary-cap space and a few players that will be heading into a contract year in 2022.
As we have seen time and time again, general manager Chris Ballard typically likes to extend a player before his contract is terminated. Most of the time–if Ballard really wants a player—they’ll get the extension done during the offseason before the player’s final contractual year.
So we’ll be looking at players that will be unrestricted free agents during the 2023 offseason.
There aren’t a whole lot of names that will be hitting the market then, but there are some players who may get a new contract from the team this offseason.
