Three Denver Broncos players have made the NFL’s 2025 Pro Bowl roster, the NFL announced Saturday.
Broncos cornerback Pat Surtain, pass rusher Nik Bonitto and returner Marvin Mims will start for the AFC team coached by Peyton Manning (the NFC squad is coached by Eli Manning). The “Pro Bowl Games” feature several skills competitions leading up a flag football game.
Denver also had a group of eight players named alternates for the Pro Bowl, including rookie quarterback Bo Nix.
Pat Surtain has allowed just 298 passing yards and a 55.6 passer rating to opposing quarterbacks this season, according to Pro Football Reference. His four interceptions are tied for fourth among AFC cornerbacks. Surtain also broke up 11 passes, forced and recovered a fumble and grabbed a 100-yard pick-six this season.
Nik Bonitto has totaled 11.5 sacks this fall, tied for the fourth-most in the NFL. He also has 22 QB hits, 14 tackles behind the line, four pass breakups, two forced fumbles, a 71-yard pick-six and a 50-yard fumble-six in 2024.
Marvin Mims is currently averaging 15.7 yards per punt, which ranks first in the NFL among players with double-digit returns. His 62-yard long ranks fifth, and he’s also made an impact on offense with four scores, including 93-yard and 51-yard touchdown catches.
The 2025 Pro Bowl Games will be held at Camping World Stadium in Orlando on Feb. 2. The NFC defeated the AFC 64-59 last season.
