247Sports has one Notre Dame player on its preseason freshman All-American team

This player should see the field early and often with a big impact

The 2023 cycle was the first full one for [autotag]Notre Dame[/autotag] head coach [autotag]Marcus Freeman[/autotag], and he signed a very good class.

The group of 23 players was ranked No. 12 on the 247Sports team composite. One of those players, wide receiver [autotag]Jaden Greathouse[/autotag], made its preseason freshman All-American team.

Although the 6-foot, 2-inch and 220-pound Texan wasn’t the highest commit of the class, he is expected to have an early impact. Greathouse had a very impressive senior season. He gained 915 yards on 51 receptions with 10 touchdowns.

So far the early practice reviews this fall have been fantastic, and the freshman is expected to play early and often.

Chris Hummer, who compiled the list thinks “at worst, a lock to be a big part of Notre Dame’s rotation at wide receiver. It shouldn’t come as a surprise to see Greathouse emerge quickly.” The hype is real.
