2025 NFL draft: The Tennessee Titans are on the clock

The Titans have secured the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft.

After the early round of Sunday games in Week 18 of the NFL season, the Tennessee Titans secured the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft. By virtue of the Titans 23-14 loss to the Houston Texans and the New England Patriots 23-16 win over the Buffalo Bills, Tennessee is now on the clock.

For the Titans, the evaluation process must begin in-house with quarterback Will Levis. Injuries wrecked Levis’ second NFL season but even with that, he was only 2-9 in 11 starts and finished with a 30.2 quarterback rating.

If Tennessee sees enough potential in Levis to keep him as the starter and build around him. A wide receiver makes the most sense and in this draft class, there are a few really exceptional ones. Colorado athlete Travis Hunter and Arizona’s Tetairoa McMillan make the most sense.

However, if the Titans do plan to keep Levis, that No. 1 pick will be valuable to a quarterback-needy team willing to go up after Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward. The Titans could move back a few picks and still perhaps land McMillan or Missouri’s Luther Burden, along with a load of picks.
