2025 NFL draft: Steelers locked in with No. 21 pick

The Steelers have their slot in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft.

Now that the season is officially over for the Pittsburgh Steelers, we know where the Steelers are slotted to pick in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft. Thanks to the Steelers losing their final four games of the regular season as well as their playoff game, Pittsburgh finished at 10-7 and holds the No. 21 overall pick.

Pittsburgh had the No. 20 overall pick in 2024 and selected former Washington offensive tackle Troy Fautanu. Fautanu was supposed to be the starter that fixed the Steelers issues at offensive tackle but a knee injury in September ended up landing him on IR and missing the entire season.

This year’s first-round pick must be an impact player. The Steelers have multiple holes in the roster and until free agency shakes out we are just guessing which positions will be the top priority.

Looking at the 2025 NFL draft class, Pittsburgh should have some nice options at positions like wide receiver, cornerback, defensive line and offensive tackle.
