Following the conclusion of Tennessee’s 2024 football season, junior defensive lineman James Pearce Jr. received his latest NFL draft projection from USA TODAY Sports.
The 6-foot-5, 243-pound defensive lineman is projected as the No. 11 pick in the first round by San Francisco.
Pearce Jr. appeared in 13 games for the Vols in 2024, recording 38 tackles, 13 tackles for a loss, 7.5 sacks, one pass deflection, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
He totaled 71 tackles, 29.5 tackles for a loss, 19.5 sacks, one interception, one touchdown, three pass deflections, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery from 2022-24 at Tennessee.
