2025 5-Star OT out of Florida places Texas A&M in his Top 10 program list

Needing a dose of future O-line talent, 2025 5-star offensive tackle Solomon Thomas has placed Texas A&M in his Top 10 program list.

Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is bare in its current state. While head coach Jimbo Fisher’s future with the program is still uncertain depending on how the 2023 season wraps up, fan apathy has set in after several de-commitments in the 2024 cycle, including four-star WR Drelon Miller and four-star OT Weston Davis (committed to LSU) increased said apathy earlier last week.

While Miller may still be in the fold after taking an official visit to College Station this weekend, Davis’ flip to the Tigers stings even more due to the immense struggles A&M has dealt with on the offense line the past two seasons. While second-year O-line coach Steve Addazio deserves the bulk of the blame, an infusion of future talent is an absolute must.

Earlier this week, 2025, five-star offensive tackle Solomon Thomas out of Jacksonville, Florida, released his Top 10 program list, including Georgia, Arkansas, South Carolina, Miami, LSU, Florida State, Florida, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Texas A&M.

According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Thomas is currently positioned as the 21st-ranked player in the cycle, the 4th-ranked offensive tackle, and the 3rd-ranked player in Florida. Standing at 6-3 278 pounds, Thomas’s size, strength, and footwork provide a wealth of position versatility if he switches to guard once he enters a collegiate program.
