2025 4-star Safety Sael Reyes, brother of former Texas A&M safety Antonio Johnson, is trending towards the Aggies

2025 4-star safety Sael Reyes, brother of former Aggies star safety Antonio Johnson, is currently trending towards the Aggies.

Texas A&M Football; it’s a family thing. The now former Texas A&M safety Antonio Johnson, who was drafted in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars, potentially isn’t the last of his family to carry on the Aggie legacy, as 2025 four-star safety Sael Reyes, Johnson’s younger brother, is currently a favorite to land with the Maroon and White according to On3.

Like Johnson, Reyes is a native of East Saint Louis, Illinois, but transferred to Desoto high school in Desoto, Texas, for his 2023 junior season. According to On3 Industry Rankings, Reyes is currently positioned as the 18th-ranked safety in the 2025 class and the 38th-ranked player in Texas. During his 2022 campaign, the versatile Reyes recorded 63 tackles (37 solo), 5.3 tackles per game, and five interceptions.

As a natural in deep press coverage, Reyes possesses natural ball skills while consistently breaking on his receiving target when the ball is delivered, all due to his elite athletic profile and football intelligence.

Down the stretch, the Aggies are competing with Missouri, Illinois, and Arkansas attempting to sway his decision. As an Aggie through and through, you can be sure that Antonio Johnson will have Reye’s ear, as his previous March 4 unofficial visit to College Station will likely turn into an official visit this summer/fall.
