2025 4-Star QB out of Orange (CA) places Texas A&M in his Top 7 program list

Looking toward the future, 2025 4-star quarterback TJ Lateef has placed Texas A&M in his Top 7 program list.

While we all wait for 2024 five-star athlete Terry Bussey to make his final decision next month, Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko and his staff are already hard at work recruiting for the 2025 cycle, hosting a bevy of talented prospects during the Aggies’ annual junior day this weekend.

While the quarterback position is all but set for the next two years in College Station, the ever-growing popularity of the transfer portal will sow worry in every coaching staff concerning young and talented signal callers who demand early playing time.

On Saturday, 2025 four-star quarterback TJ Lateef. who has been on the Aggies’ radar since offering the talented California native last April, released his initial Top 7 program, which includes Auburn, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Florida State, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M.

According to 247Sports, Lateef is currently positioned as the 160th-ranked player in the 2025 cycle, the 9th-ranked quarterback, and the 14th-ranked player in California. Standing at 6’3″, Lateef possesses the arm strength, accuracy and touch needed to excel at the next level.
