The Oregon Ducks are staying active in the quarterback recruiting world, and it appears that one of the more notable prospects on the west coast in the 2024 class will be coming off of the board soon.
4-star QB Austin Mack, a 6-foot-6 passer from Folsom, California, announced on Friday that he will be making his commitment on February 1. Mack narrowed down his schools to five, including the Ducks in the mix with a group of other Pac-12 teams. At the moment, the Washington Huskies are strongly favored to land his commitment.
According to 247Sports, Mack is rated as the No. 7 QB and No. 53 overall player in the nation for the 2024 class. We will see next week where he chooses to start his college career, with the announcement coming at 1:45 PT.
