2024 NFL mock draft projects four Alabama players to be taken in the first round

CBS Sports updated 2024 NFL mock draft has four Alabama players selected in the first-round

After his shocking decision to retire from college football back in early January, this will be the final batch of Nick Saban-drafted players after his illustrious 17-year career with the Crimson Tide. Coach Saban has a been great ambassador for the University, impacted so many people’s lives both on and off the football field, and set so many families up for life.

One of the most insane stats of Saban’s tenure with Alabama is that he saw 44 players taken in the first round of the draft – compared to 29 TOTAL losses during that time. I mean that doesn’t even sound possible. Josh Edwards of CBS Sports projects that Saban will have four more players added to his tally in his most recent 2024 NFL mock draft.

Edwards anticipates that [autotag]Dallas Turner[/autotag] will be the first member of the Crimson Tide off the board as the Atlanta Falcons will select his services with the No. 8 overall pick. Four picks later, at No. 12 overall, the Denver Broncos select [autotag]Terrion Arnold[/autotag] to play across the field from Patrick Surtain. The very next pick, the Las Vegas Raiders select [autotag]JC Latham[/autotag] to help clean up one of the poorer offensive lines in the league. Finally, the Packers land the steal of the draft as they are projected to take [autotag]Kool-Aid McKinstry[/autotag] at No. 25 overall, despite many people considering him to be a top ten pick.
