Multiple sources have confirmed that 2024 five-star wide receiver Micah Hudson, who is currently committed to Texas Tech, will take an official visit to Texas A&M this weekend and attend the Alabama game on Saturday afternoon.
Late Friday night, or early Saturday morning, that is, TexAgs analyst Ryan Brauninger and Rivals recruiting insider Landyn Rosow confirmed the news, as head coach Jimbo Fisher and his staff have yet to give up on by far the most talented player in the 2024 cycle, as he will join over 300 prospects from the 2024l 2025, and 2026 cycle who are also attending the game.
According to Rivals, Micah Hudson is currently positioned as the 6th-ranked player in the 2024 class, the 2nd-ranked wide receiver prospect, and the 2nd-ranked player in Texas.
While Texas A&M’s talented 2024 wide receiver class is by far one of the top collections in the cycle, Hudson’s incredibly versatile skill set combined with his elite speed would put this group over the top, joining an already established wide receiver group that will likely include Evan Stewart, Noah Thomas, Jahdae Walker, Moose Muhammad, Micah Tease, and Raymond Cottrell in 2024.
As I reported earlier in the week, can confirm Five-star WR Micah Hudson will be in attendance for an OV this weekend. Huge news for A&M. pic.twitter.com/m8ZFScxOb0

While Texas Tech and Joey McGuire still hold all the cards, their disappointed 2-3 record this season certainly isn’t helping their chances at securing Hudson’s commitment heading into National Signing Day in February.
Texas A&M will host No.10 Alabama on Saturday, Oct. 7, at 2:30 p.m. CT, inside Kyle Field (TV: CBS).
