Texas A&M’s 2024 recruiting efforts begin the weekend, as head coach Jimbo Fisher and his staff will host seven high-profile prospects, including several players predicted to land with the Maroon and White.
Outside of the prospects who have already scheduled future official visits to College Station, the “cream of the crop” members of the 2024 cycle, including five-star defensive tackle Dominick McKinley are setting the stage for their plans, as McKinley recently revealed this Top 6 program list on Wednesday, which includes Oklahoma, Texas, Ohio State, Georgia, LSU, and of course, Texas A&M.
According to 247Sports, McKinley is positioned as the 31st-ranked player in the 2024 class, the 7th-ranked defensive line prospect, and the No.1-ranked player in Louisiana. After offering him back in late December, Texas A&M’s recent success in landing top-tier DL talent under head coach Jimbo Fisher and defensive line coach/recruiting ace Elijah Robinson has most likely played a significant role in the Aggies making the final cut.
