Boom! Texas A&M and Head Coach Jimbo Fisher aren’t slowing down one bit on the recruiting trail, adding their 15th player in the 2024 recruiting cycle, four-star wide receiver Jaylan Hornsby, who’s been a massive target for the Maroon and White this summer, has officially committed to the Aggies on Saturday afternoon!
Currently positioned as the 57th-ranked wide receiver and the 5th-ranked player in New Jersey, Hornsby’s recent June 16 visit to College Station sealed the deal for Jimbo Fisher and his staff, choosing the Aggies over the previous regional favorites, Penn State.
Standing at 6-2 and 195 pounds, Hornsby’s speed and consistent field-stretching ability on go-routes, combined with versatility at all three wide receiver spots, makes him one of the more sought-after offensive prospects in the class and a perfect fit in new Aggie’s offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino’s spread system.

During his 2022 junior season, Hornsby recorded 23 receptions for 441 yards and two touchdowns, aiming to eclipse those numbers in his final senior campaign. Joining a litany of recent four-star prospects to commit to the Aggies this week, including WR Drelon Miller and OL Weston Davis, Texas A&M has locked down eight players in the last ten days, and guess what? They’re not done yet. Congratulations, Jaylan! Gig ’em!
