2024 4-star power forward trims his list down to five schools

The Tigers will host Pharaoh Compton in October.

A top-100 power forward in the 2024 recruiting class has narrowed his list of finalists down to five schools. LSU, San Diego State, UNLV, Tennessee, and Iowa made the cut.

There are no Crystal Ball projections for [autotag]Pharaoh Compton[/autotag] at this time but San Diego State is a 24% favorite to land him per On3. [autotag]Matt McMahon[/autotag] is currently working on building a strong recruiting class and he does not have any commits for the 2024 class yet.

Compton is a 6-foot-7, 215-pound power forward from Las Vegas, Nevada where he plays for Arbor View High School. The Arbor View Aggies finished the 2022 season 20-8 with a loss to Coronado in the 5A South Quarterfinals.

According to 247Sports, Compton is scheduled to visit LSU on Oct. 14. Hopefully, McMahon can convince Compton that the Bayou is the right place for him to play at the next level. LSU basketball starts its season on Oct. 30 against Louisiana Christian.
